The early Seventies saw the first of the "Apple and Eve" montage photographs, the debut of an ongoing series of graphic exercises that explore the many permutations that become possible by combining these two elements. The image manipulation in this series was accomplished without using digital means. The "In Camera"methods will be illustrated on this site in the months to come. .A new series, playing the variation game on the Heart icon is now in progress. At the other end of the spectrum of his activities are Sam's city portaits of Bologna and Barcelona as well as his celebration of the people and the crafts of a continent in African Image.
					He exhibits and teaches at workshops and seminars on the international circuit. Sam's Magic Lantern Show is an inspirational slide presentation of almost five hundred 6x7 cm transparencies.
